This Update includes the following changes and improvements:
 | Beginning with this service pack, the installer now
records in the registry where EDS IV / Sizer / Letera are installed. The
installer assumes that the default path for any ENS files will be the
Embroidery Network System directory adjacent to the EDS IV directory.
 | This version supports the reading and writing of the
Janome .jef home format.
 | Uses an updated Sydex driver that is Plug and Play for
Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Previous driver for NT would cause problems
shutting down in Windows 2000.
 | If a user closed the print preview dialog via the ‘X’
or icon menu and then later crashes (for whatever reason), the toolbar
registry could be left in an unknown state and Sizer may not start the
next time the user tries to run Sizer.
 | When Exporting to a Tajima disk and overwrite an existing
file, answer yes or no to the prompt: a crash occurs. Also, once a crash
occurs, no write operation can be completed without a crash. Sometime a
crash will occur if after writing to a double density disk, the user
changes to a HI density disk and tries to write again.
 | If a "disk full" error is encountered while
exporting to Tajima, results would be a disk full error, then a system
crash.
 | When using "Save As" to save a Tajima design
and setting the jump stitch count to a new value the new value does would
take affect until the next "Save As".
 | Two things with exporting to ZSK. The first, ZSk options
dialog showed a heading of Barudan. Second, after exporting there were no
needle changes at all.
 | Some menu items had duplicate accelerator keys.
 | Expanded designs were being handled improperly when
adding Lock Stitches to them. If an element started with Jump Stitches
moving to the element, it did the Tie Ins before the Jumps, instead of
after where the first stitch is of the new element.
 | Fill type 1 was not ignoring the stitch length setting
when calculating stitches.
 | Running stitches could sometimes be seen underneath
trapunto complex fills.
 | When opening files with outlines made of a bean stitch,
the outline came out as a running stitch instead of a bean stitch.
 | When opening a file from one floppy disk, and then
changing floppies do and performing a File:Save then closing the window a
blue screen appeared asking for the original floppy. |
