Machines can be placed in sleep mode (machine is on, but not running) when being used as singleheads or when part of a multihead. To put a single machine in sleep mode (whether it is a singlehead or part of a multihead), press the Stop key and hold it down for three seconds. If you need to temporarily turn off a head in the middle of sewing, you can put the head into Sleep Mode and allow the other heads to continue sewing.
The following are indicators that a head is asleep:
Head lights are off
Motors are powered off
Green LED blinks on for 2 seconds, off for a half second
Head does not run
To disengage sleep mode (wake a machine), press the Start key and hold it down for three seconds. .
Note: The Stop key on a sleeping head will still function to stop the entire synchronized cluster, when running. The Start key on a sleeping head will only function to waken the head or cluster (you must press the Start key again after the head is awake to start the head(s) sewing). |
