Cleaning Solution Cartridge

To avoid cleaning solution from leaking from the breathing hole do not lay the cartridge(s) flat after filling.

Cleaning solution cartridges are used when the machine is to be prepared for storage or for purging the Ink Delivery System of ink. These must be filled prior to use and are keyed and labeled according to the bay they should be inserted into.

Remove the cartridge filling port cap (see picture below).
Use a funnel and fill a cartridge to approximately ¼ of the capacity with solution.
Replace the filling port cap.
Fill the remaining cartridges to approximately the same level with solution.
