The Timers Tab guides you through the maintenance of your AMAYA machine.
Maintenance Timers Enabled - If this box is checked (as a default it will be checked), the maintenance timers for your AMAYA machine will be enabled. This means that you will be prompted by a dialog box at every scheduled maintenance.
IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended that you do not disable maintenance timers. These timers are designed to prompt you to perform important maintenance procedures. Neglecting this maintenance could result in damage to your machine. |
Timers - Maintenance is scheduled after your machine has completed certain numbers of revolutions (or stitches). Maintenance is scheduled for 200,000 stitches for Rotary Hook if you have chosen Uncoated for the Hook Type; 2,000,000 stitches; 2,000,000 stitches for the Wide Angle Cap Frame Driver; 4,000,000 stitches; 10,000,000 stitches; 20,000,000 stitches; 100,000,000 stitches, and 100,000,000 stitches for the Wide Angle Cap Frame Cap Driver. All of these values change if you select Coated as the Hook Type.
Hook Type - You can choose Coated or Uncoated for your hook type. If you choose Uncoated, the stitch interval for the timer is 200,000 stitches. If you choose Coated, the stitch interval for the timer is 600,000 stitches.
Feed Rollers... brings up the Thread Feed Roller Counters:
Whenever maintenance is required (for example, your machine has completed 200,000 stitches), a maintenance dialog box will pop up (see image below), prompt you to perform the maintenance required. Click Step to have the system lead you through the procedure. Click Reset to manually perform the maintenance. If you successfully complete the maintenance, the timer will reset when you are finished. If you receive an error while you are performing the maintenance that prevents you from successfully completing the procedures, the timer will not reset. You will need to restart the step by step procedure and complete it successfully.
This dialog will never pop up while the machine is sewing a design.
If you click the Ignore button, the dialog box will be displayed again after each successive design is completed.
You may choose to perform these maintenance procedures when you have not been prompted by the maintenance dialog box. If you choose to do this, you will find lubrication procedures in the Lubrication section. Also, in the Timers tab, you can click the Step button that corresponds to the desired maintenance. When you click this button, you will be led through the maintenance steps.
IMPORTANT: Do not reset a maintenance timer without performing the required maintenance. |
