Unpacking the AMAYA

If you have had your machine delivered by Melco, then your machine should have been unpacked by the shipping company and all packing materials removed and disposed of for you.  The following instructions are for reference or in the event you purchase a machine but arranged for delivery on your own.

warning.gif - READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE PROCEEDING -

  1. Remove the outer packing/holding straps by cutting them.
  2. Removing the exterior box lid (you may need to remove a piece of plywood and white corner braces used to increase the strength of the shipping container before removing the box lid).
  3. Carefully lift the exterior box up and away from the AMAYA machine.
  4. After removing the outside packaging, remove the "options box". (see fig 1.1)
  5. Cut the packing/holding straps securing the machine to the box/pallet. (see fig 1.1)
  6. Remove any additional loose packaging.
  7. Remove the "Black Base Cover" from the AMAYA and set it to the side.
  8. Lift the AMAYA using the hand holds located on the bottom of the machine casting. (see fig 1.2)

warning.gif - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LIFT THE AMAYA ALONE - Always move the AMAYA with two people; one on each side of the machine using the hand holds on the bottom of the machine.

warning.gif - DO NOT LIFT THE MACHINE FROM ANY LOCATION OTHER THAN THE HAND HOLDS LOCATED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BASE OF THE MACHINE -

  1. If you have not already, assemble the "cart" using the cart instructions found here.  (If you did not purchase a cart, you will have a "bench top pad" that you can place your AMAYA on).
  2. Place the AMAYA on your cart or "bench top pad" (depending on which option you purchased).
  3. Replace the "Black Base Cover" on the AMAYA
